Nic's Monster House Story

"The Monster House Story"
by Nicodemus

Once there was a family. It was so peaceful, but one night it was alive. Monster house! We all saw it. The family all tried, then it happened. We all cried as it went on. Let's get to the catch. There I was, glaring at it. The room was pitch black. I woke up and said, "What a nightmare!"

"T.J., we're going," said my mom.

"What?" I cried.

"We're going!" my mom shouted again as I said, "AHHHH!" I cried.

"Fine!" I said in a loud voice. My mom said, "Gram Gram is coming to get you."

"No, no, no! I have to stay here," I said. Then my mom said, "You'll have a babysitter."

"Then fine! I don't care!"

"Well, I do," said my mom. As they left nobody came and the light went off. I felt something.

"Chowder?" I asked.

"Buddy, dude."

"I think you're a dork," I said. But then I said, "Who shut off the lights?"

"I did," said Chowder. "Looks like I'm not the only dork in town, don't ya think? But ya know what's funner? Halloween!"

"So you just dress up, woo hoo. Who cares."

"I do!"

"Well, I don't. It's when nothing ever happens that night."

That's when they found Jenny. That's when they grabbed their squirt guns and found the key to Mr. Nebbercracker's lawn. They got sucked in by the Monster House and went BOOM! They all laughed together.
